Welcome to the San Francisco Treasurer & Tax Collector’s Gross Receipts Tax and Payroll Expense Tax Return.

Please note the following:
  • Gross Receipts Tax and Payroll Expense Tax returns are due by
    02-28-2017.
  • Online forms must therefore be transmitted before midnight on
    02-28-2017.
  • Payments must be received or postmarked on or before
    02-28-2017.
  • Penalties, interest, and fees will be imposed after
    02-28-2017.
  • Your total tax obligation will be summarized and displayed at the end of the return.
  • You may review and update your business information through Account Update prior to starting this return.

Please have the following ready:
  • Your seven (7) digit Business Account Number.
  • The last four (4) digits of your Tax Identification Number.
  • Your eight (8) character Online PIN.
  • Credit card or checking account information if submitting an electronic payment.
  • You must complete each section before moving to the next one.
  • You may enter / exit at any time. The data is saved for completed pages.
  • The filing is complete only when you see the below confirmation.
